We will be installing perforated panels onto a new car park in The Trafford Centre designed for VIPs.

Maple have recently won the contract to install a decorative panel façade onto the new Selfridges car park at The Trafford Centre. The VIP parking area will replace the existing Peel 5 car park and feature larger bays and charging points and operate using Automatic Number Plate Recognition barriers.

Attached to the head of the self-supporting façade will be lettering that spells ‘Premium Parking’. Each laser-cut panel will be powder-coated in the shade ‘Green Brown’ as per the client's intent which will complement The Trafford Centre’s affluent bronze aesthetic. The project marks our latest collaboration with LRW Architects following our completion of King’s Dock multi-storey car park in Liverpool in 2020.

The development is part of the shopping centre’s plan to encourage ‘premium shoppers’ to support the high-end retailers within Selfridges such as Gucci, Balenciaga and Ralph Lauren.

The Trafford Centre’s VIP Parking development is Maple’s latest in a long run of Manchester-based projects. To learn more about how we have been making our mark on Manchester in the last 40 years, take a look at ‘Maple’s Top Ten Greater Manchester Projects.'
