The façade will feature fins from Maple’s Vector® range as well as Aspect® rainscreen cladding.
Our latest contract win involves a vertical fin façade installation for Haverfordwest’s new multi-storey car park and integrated travel hub. Maple played a key role in the early design stages of the project, working closely with the client to bring their vision to life. Our value engineering expertise was instrumental in saving costs of up to 25% on the façade, all while preserving the architect’s original intent.
Vector® fin façade will span all elevations of the car park, including the spiralling car ramp which will include 213 fins alone. The stair cores will be masked with Aspect® rainscreen cladding system which has undergone extensive testing for weather tightness and impact resistance and will protect visitors from external elements. Also, the system has passed testing for fire safety with Efectis.
The vertical fins will be powder-coated in a pearl gold shade, making this project very similar to our recent façade installation for Arle Court Transport Hub. This project also marks our latest collaboration with Kier Construction with whom we also worked alongside on Arle Court.
Cllr Paul Miller, the Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Place, the Region and Climate Change commented on the planned development:
‘We anticipate the new facility opening in early 2026. Making Haverfordwest Town Centre easy and convenient to visit is part of our wider plans to regenerate the town and ensure Haverfordwest is a great place to live, work and visit.’
