Sustainability is a key part of Maple’s social value approach. We are committed to supporting environmental projects that improve local spaces, encourage biodiversity and contribute to a more responsible built environment.
Our activity includes tree planting, bug hotel installations, litter picks, biodiversity improvements and small-scale environmental projects delivered both corporately and in partnership with clients. These initiatives help us create measurable impact while supporting our wider sustainability commitments.

Our people are central to the way we deliver social value. Through volunteering, mentoring and skills-based opportunities, the Maple team plays an active role in supporting communities and helping others access the industry.
We are committed to creating opportunities for young people and future talent through T-Level placements, work experience, apprenticeships and vocational engagement. These activities help people gain practical insight into the workplace, develop skills and explore future careers in construction, design, engineering and manufacturing.

We believe our work should create value for the communities we operate in. That means supporting local charities, schools, community groups and environmental organisations through practical action and meaningful contributions.
Our commitments include team volunteering days, seasonal donation drives, community clean-ups, food bank collections, hygiene pack donations, warm clothing drives and support for local causes. At project level, we also work with clients to identify opportunities that align with local priorities, such as community donations, sensory room contributions and the installation of defibrillators in public or community spaces.
The impact we make in the built environment is great, but hardly scratches the surface when compared to the impact we make in local communities. What we do is just the beginning of our commitment to transforming the lives of local families.
