WHERE WE STARTED
Maple was founded in 1983 at the McGrath family dining table as a supplier for residential blinds and curtains. Four years later, we moved into our first office in Trafford Park where we steadily built the foundations to expand into the external façade market in 2003. By 2010, we moved into a new, larger premises, reached £1 million turnover and ventured into the car park sector for the first time, delivering the architectural façade on Addenbrookes car park.
Following the first 20+ years of sustained growth, Trevor appointed sons Sean and Jay McGrath company directors as the brothers carried forward the Maple values into a new office and manufacturing facility in 2014.
WHERE WE ARE
In the following years, Maple took on landmark projects, such as Broadmarsh Interchange and Multi-storey car park. In 2022, we expanded once again, this time into the rainscreen cladding market to deliver one of the UK’s largest Passivhaus student accommodation projects, UWE Bristol, Frenchay Campus.
Today, Maple are renowned for our expertise in architectural façades, louvres, brise soleil, and rainscreen cladding, as well as still supplying internal blinds and curtains for a diverse range of commercial clients.
