Manchester Airport T1 & T3

Maple are proud to be playing a part in the £1bn transformation of Manchester Airport.

Located just 15 minutes from Maple’s Stockport factory, the airport is the one we know best. So, we’re delighted to be working with construction company Galliford Try on a new multi-storey car park to serve T1, T2 and T3.

We’re creating and installing a façade system to the five-storey car park, with mesh panels in galvanised steel and glass reinforced plastic.

The panels will be fixed with a special bracket and support-rail system designed for the purpose by Maple’s in-house design team. The fixings were installed in August 2019, with installation of the mesh façade schedule for November.

“Every year, many of the Maple team use Manchester Airport for business trips or holidays, so it’s exciting to be involved on a project in a place we know so well,” said Maple’s Protects Director, Sean McGrath. “Whenever we use the ‘meet and greet’ car park, we’ll be reminded of how we used our skill and experience to deliver a successful project.”
