Maple Façades is proud to announce that King Street Offices in Blackpool has been shortlisted for the prestigious Project of the Year at the North West Regional Construction Awards 2025.

As the tallest office building in Blackpool, the King Street Offices serve as a new civil service hub and a major element of the £350 million Talbot Gateway redevelopment. Maple's contribution involved installing over 200 linear metres of Contour® SL louvres to screen rooftop plant machinery, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The louvres were anodised in black to withstand the coastal environment's corrosive salt spray, enhancing durability and performance.

Designed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, the building exemplifies sustainable construction practices and marks our fourth collaboration with property developers Muse, following Wirral Growth Offices.

The nomination reflects the project's alignment with the Constructing Excellence principles, showcasing collaborative procurement, high productivity, robust digital strategies, a positive workplace culture, sustainability, social value, industry culture change, adherence to the Building Safety Act, and exceptional client satisfaction.
