Contour® HP weather louvres and Infiniti® architectural fins will play a key role in the building’s envelope.
Maple Façades is proud to confirm our contribution to a state-of-the-art data centre in London, in collaboration with Collen Construction.
Our involvement from the early stages of the project has ensured smooth design integration, efficient manufacturing, and efficient delivery to site. The Maple team is working closely with Collen Construction to ensure that all systems are optimised for security, performance, and the programme requirements of a mission-critical project.
Contour® HP is a high-performance weather louvre, designed to deliver maximum airflow with minimal rainwater ingress, making it ideal for technical environments where performance and protection are paramount. It possesses a Class A rain defence rating at up to 2 m/s and has been tested and certified by BSRIA to BS EN 13030 for rain defence and airflow.
Data centres possess high volumes of technical equipment, which can generate heat and risk damage. To combat this, Contour® HP allows for effective passive cooling and superior weather protection while integrating with the architectural aesthetic of the building exterior.
To add further visual interest and effective screening, the project also incorporates Infiniti architectural fins. The Infiniti® system allows for sleek, seamless lines with concealed fixing methods and customisable spacing, blade profiles, and finishes. With durable powder-coated or anodised options, the fins provide not only design flexibility but also long-lasting protection against the elements. For this project, they help deliver an attractive feature with added security that aligns with the facility’s need for discretion and integration with local landscapes.
