Maple provided the finishing touches to a new-build school in north Wales.
We were appointed to supply and install more than 300 interior blinds at Rhyl High School.
Two types of roller blind system were installed in the school’s performance hall (with black-out fabric) and around the new £25m ‘super school’, which opened to pupils last year.
Our Ultra Cassette System, which is constructed to provide extra protection for the fabric and mechanism, was used in 40 locations, while the rest of the project will make good use of Maple’s heavy-duty Ultra System.
The blinds were fitted with manually operated metal control chains, and the aluminium channels and bottom bars were powder-coated in white, black or anodised silver.

Recently, the school won the Wales Planning Award 2017 by the Royal Town Planning Institute Cymru, which acknowledges the project for good planning practice.
