Our latest achievement cements our dedication to continuous improvement.
We’re proud to share that Maple has once again successfully achieved the Alcumus SafeContractor Sustainability Verification for the second consecutive year.
This verification builds on our existing SafeContractor health and safety certification, demonstrating that we are going beyond compliance to demonstrate commitment to environmental, social, and ethical best practices in our operations.
What is the safecontractor sustainability verification?
The SafeContractor Sustainability Verification is an extension of the widely recognised Alcumus SafeContractor accreditation that Maple has been a member of for 7 years.
While the original certification focuses on health and safety practices, the sustainability verification takes this one step further by assuring that we are committed to operating responsibly and ethically across all areas of our business.
What is the foundation of the sustainability verification process?
The Sustainability Verification process is structured around PAS 91:2010, a standardised prequalification questionnaire developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI). PAS 91 is widely used in the construction sector, particularly during the procurement process, to ensure contractors meet the necessary requirements.
By achieving sustainability verification for a second year, we reaffirm our commitment to delivering quality and safety in a way that minimises environmental impact, supports people, and upholds the highest ethical standards. This accreditation is a strong marker of our commitment to continuous improvement, as we continually seek new ways to drive progress for both our people and our business.
