Maple have partnered with one of the UK’s largest contractors to complete the redevelopment, expansion and improvement of a flagship independent hospital for the Benenden Hospital Trust.

Willmott Dixon are in the process of creating new theatres, en suite rooms, an ophthalmic suite and a new out-patient department for the state-of-the-art hospital in Cranbrook, Kent.

Naturally, healthcare facilities are at the centre of the £45m development ― but Maple are playing an important part behind the scenes.

We are currently installing ventilation louvres to protect important plant and machinery at ground and rooftop level. The 100mm louvres from our Ventilation Louvre range were designed to ensure maximum airflow while keeping out rain. They also featured insect mesh for added protection.

While large windows create a light and airy environment for staff and patients, too much direct sunlight can cause rooms to become uncomfortably bright or hot. Maple manufactured and are installing brise soleil above the windows to provide shade without blocking daylight or vision.
