The accreditation scheme works to help contractors achieve compliance and mitigate risks across 13 areas of risk management through a common assessment standard (CAS).
Maple are proud to announce that we have achieved the prestigious CHAS Elite accreditation for the second consecutive year.
CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) introduced the Elite certification in 2022, marking its highest accreditation level as it demonstrates compliance across 13 areas of risk management ranging from Health and Safety to Supply Chain Management.
To achieve this accolade, Maple carried out a Full Desktop Assessment which involved answering prequalification questions covering the 13 key areas of risk management along with providing supporting evidence and documents. The stringent requirements help contractors ensure compliance and mitigate risks across the different risk management areas.
Our Head of HSEQ, Mark Simpson, commented on the achievement, stating: “Achieving the highest levels of HSEQ performance is a fundamental aspect of our continual improvement culture at Maple.”
The CHAS Elite accreditation marks another string to Maple’s HSEQ bow. It provides a further testament to our dedication to achieving the highest standards of health and safety, environmental management, and social responsibility.
