Our Operations Manager, Nick Coles, visited Manchester College to give a brief introduction to working in construction.

As part of our initiative to give back to the community, our Head of Operations, Nick Coles recently gave an introductory talk to local students about the exciting career opportunities within the construction industry. The session aimed to provide greater insight into the sector and offer a glimpse into how Maple Façades operates as a specialist subcontractor.

The talk was aimed at T-level students studying Design Surveying and Planning and Building Services Environment at The Manchester College – Openshaw Campus. Following this visit, we are also in the process of reviewing a number of applicants for placement within our company in the near future. As a family business, Maple Façades recognises the benefits of providing opportunities for the next generation, so much so that over the last decade we have welcomed individuals with a diverse range of backgrounds into our company and equipped them with valuable skills and experience through apprenticeship programmes.
