Our ongoing adherence to HSEQ principles and dedication to reducing our carbon footprint has caught the attention of the Construction News judges.

Maple are proud to announce our shortlisting in two prestigious categories at the 2025 Construction News Awards: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Excellence and Carbon Reduction Champion. This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our processes are both safe and sustainable.

The shortlisting for the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Excellence award was thanks to Maple Facades's comprehensive safety practices. Maple promotes a proactive and preventative approach, focused on identifying and mitigating potential risks before they become a problem. As well as implementing stringent safety practices internally, we also encourage best practice procedures through our Knowledge Centre, an unbiased hub of construction information dedicated to addressing knowledge gaps within the industry and helping make the world of construction safer.

Also, Maple’s nomination for the Carbon Reduction Champion award recognises our dedication to minimising the environmental impact of our processes. Last year, we published a series of articles documenting Maple’s ‘Journey to Sustainability’ which highlighted the challenges faced by construction companies when beginning their path to sustainability. We also covered our upcoming milestones for tackling climate change which we shared with the judges along with our latest statistics to show our progress.

"We are thrilled to be nominated for two Construction News Awards and look forward to presenting our HSEQ strategies to the judges." said Andrew Hill, HSEQ Advisor at Maple Façades, "It is a testament to our team's hard work and dedication that we have been shortlisted alongside some of the construction industry's best-known names. We are proud of the progress we have made in recent years and are excited to showcase our achievements in health, safety, well-being and carbon reduction."

The Construction News Awards is a widely recognised awards organisation in the UK construction industry and Maple Façades is honoured to be among the finalists. We look forward to attending the awards ceremony on July 10th at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
