The Building Safety Act 2022 brought about a range of new standards and procedures to instigate positive reform in the construction industry. It introduced measures such as ‘The Golden Thread’ and the ‘Gateway Approach’ and roles like ‘Building Safety Regulator’ all of which are instrumental in improving the safety of buildings throughout their lifecycle. To find out more, take a look at our article ‘What is the BSA 2022 and what changes does it bring to the construction industry?’.

The new act is very meticulous in its approach to ensuring safety across the entire construction process, meaning there is a lot of fresh information to digest to guarantee compliance.

Luckily for you, Maple Façades have released a series of articles in our Knowledge Centre that answer FAQs about the BSA 2022. Some of our latest articles cover ‘What classes as a higher-risk building?’ and ‘What are the three Gateways?’.
