Maple products will form an integral part in the design of a new development at Exchange Square in Birmingham.

No longer viewed simply as a solar screening solution, Maple’s bespoke vertical fins will form an important part of the project’s aesthetic.

More than 100 bespoke fins (from 4m to 5m high) will protect glazed spaces from the effects of solar glare ― and will blend seamlessly with the landmark city centre development.

Our specialists are even working closely with architects and contractors to develop a powder-coating that will perfectly match the sandstone effect of the project's concrete cladding.

Exchange Square is a new ‘urban village’ for Birmingham, spread over three blocks of nine, 16 and 27 storeys. Phase One, which is due to be completed in 2019, will include 603 luxury apartments and a residents’ private club and roof garden, as well as cafés, bars and restaurants.
