Burlington Junior School

EDUCATION

Maple Façades has successfully completed the design, supply and installation of a bespoke expanded mesh façade at Burlington Junior School in New Malden, delivering a vibrant architectural feature for the school's new £24.5 million building.

Working alongside main contractor Morgan Sindall and architects TMP Studios, Maple’s façade package formed part of the redevelopment and expansion of the school, replacing facilities that had previously been described as unfit for purpose.

The completed façade features striking pink expanded mesh panels, each framed by a border to create a distinctive picture-frame effect. Complementing the design, solid flat panels in the same colour have been integrated throughout the façade, while matching expanded mesh panels have also been installed around the new garden terrace, creating a cohesive architectural finish.

The completed development provides modern educational facilities and increased capacity to help meet growing demand for school places within the borough. The new building now offers students and staff a high-quality environment designed to support learning for years to come.
