Vertical fins in vibrant yellow and green tones define the exterior of KLON 02, the second phase of the Kao data campus in Harlow. The scheme forms part of a major hyperscale inspired development designed to support advanced computing.

Aerofoil Aurora blades from the brise soleil range were installed as a bold screening feature, concealing extensive IT infrastructure. Maple also supplied and installed louvres to ventilate rooftop HVAC plant areas, ensuring performance matches visual impact.

It's different from a lot of data centres because it has a bit more of an architectural feel to it. We've introduced Maple's brise soleil for our external areas which makes it quite distinctive to other data centres.
