The centre forms part of a £120 million nationwide programme to construct nine Institutes of Technology.

Maple Façades has recently won the contract to install 11 aerofoil fins onto a new Institute of Technology Centre in Stafford. The £22.5m project is for Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group and marks our second collaboration with the organisation following our façade and louvre installation for Stafford College in 2023.

Each white fin will reach a length of 9m and be installed onto the south elevation of the technology centre. Also, to aid easy installation, the fins will be split into two before being fixed using hidden, internal brackets to ensure a smooth and seamless finish.

The construction of the centre forms part of an initiative by employers and higher education providers to offer higher level training for the construction, manufacturing, engineering, manufacturing and health sectors. The Stafford Institute of Technology centre will be complete by spring 2025 with Maple expected onsite later this year.
