Maple are supplying and installing four types of façades for a huge multi-storey car park in Coventry.
But the design of the different panels, connections and support structures required is only part of the challenge for the new Salt Lane project.
“It’s a tight space for installation, so we’re going to need all our experience,” said Maple’s façade consultant, Robert Beech. “But the real challenge is the tight programme.
“Four different types of façade panels made it a perfect project for Maple, but one of the reasons we won the work was because we could deliver within the timeframe.”
The 600-space, six-storey car park is due to open in April 2019, in time to support the city’s new £37m water park.
