The Dalton Building

ARCHITECTURAL FAÇADES | EDUCATION AND GOV

Maple delivered a striking façade of solid and perforated aluminium fins, arranged vertically and horizontally to create a bold geometric composition. The perforated fins are set at varying angles to catch sunlight and introduce visual movement, while also providing shading and reducing solar glare across the building’s elevations.

Manufactured from folded aluminium with internal stiffening for rigidity, the fins were anodised in gold for durability and a distinctive architectural finish.
