The scope of Maple’s services is getting full exposure at Fujifilm’s new UK headquarters.
We’ve won a supply-only contract for perforated panels for the Bedford HQ.
It’s a departure from our typical end-to-end service of design, supply, manufacture and install. But it’s no less prestigious, with the 118 anodised panels set to create a striking design feature on the three-storey, 30,000 sq ft building.
We’ve been selected by curtain-wall contractor Elliston Steady and Hawes, who are installing the panels to help soften the sun’s glare and provide visual interest.
The perforated panels, anodised in bronze, will be installed on all four elevations across all three levels, with the top row of individually shaped panels creating an intriguing ‘wave’ design.
The new HQ, which is due to open later this year, will provide Fujifilm with office space, dedicated workshops and exhibition areas.
