Maple are set to turn visions into reality at Circle Square in Manchester

After months of design collaboration with Russells Construction, including detailed mock-ups in the prototype area of our Stockport factory, we’re due on-site this month.

Perforated panels will be folded to create a diamond texture to the top half of the 16-storey hotel and car park. The design, by architects Leach Rhodes Walker, has been described as ‘a million miles from ordinary’.

The façade will stretch upwards from the tenth floor and will cloak the 158-bed hotel part of the building. Powder-coated in grey-white to the architect’s specification, the façade will make a striking visual contribution to the entire £750m Circle Square development, which has already been singled out as one of the UK’s most innovative current developments.

When complete, the new city centre neighbourhood will place homes, offices, shops, restaurants and hotels in close proximity around an urban green space.
