Maple are installing nearly 50 giant vertical fins on a new HQ for Beal Homes in Hull.

Measuring more than a metre deep and five metres tall, the fins – which will protect the offices from the sun’s glare – could have been a heavy and potentially expensive option.

Instead, they’ll be manufactured using Maple’s Vector aluminium blades and lightweight Trespa composite panels.

In addition to the fins, Maple are installing a 40m run of horizontal brise soleil using our Aurora aerofoil blades. They’ll be powder-coated as part of the client’s vision to create effective solar shading that makes a powerful visual statement.

It’s that combination of design and practicality which Beal trust Maple to deliver, having worked with us on an office development in Hull’s Blackfriargate and on the Fruit Market car park next door.

When complete, the Beal HQ on the Bridgehead business park close to the Humber Bridge will provide the award-winning housebuilder with 19,000 sq ft of office space and a design lounge for customers.
