Stockport Exchange

Welded steel mesh panels were installed to the east and south elevations, with perforated aluminium sheets wrapping the remaining faces of the new Stockport car park. Each aluminium panel features a 280mm non perforated folded return, creating a bold 3D concertina effect when combined. The façade was secured using the Continuum system, engineered to accommodate live car park loads while enabling design flexibility.

Sustainability measures include a living wall supplied by ANS Global and 172 solar panels that help power 24 electric vehicle charging points.
