Castle Car Park

The car park’s defining feature is its concertina style façade, inspired by the town’s heritage and formed from bespoke perforated panels with castle shaped cut outs in a dark khaki grey finish. A folded centre with side returns creates a striking 3D effect, installed using Maple’s patented Continuum® system to accommodate live car park loads. Perforated and expanded mesh panels wrap all elevations, with solid panels marking the east entrance.

Installation was delivered with a strong focus on health and safety, including face fit testing for dust masks to protect against silica exposure during concrete drilling.
