Bruce Bagnall, Project Manager at VINCI Building UK, rated our contribution very highly, awarding us 10/10 for our expertise in design and installation.
University Hospitals of the North Midlands NHS Trust have unveiled a new multi-storey car park consisting of 1,680 spaces including 84 for electric vehicles. Maple were responsible for the design, supply and installation of the architectural façade for the car park that serves to ease parking issues that arose following the demolition of two neighbouring sites.
The organic colours of the 490 aluminium fins (copper, green and silver) help the car park to blend into the natural aesthetic of the site, demonstrating how far the sector has come in terms of making car parks visually appealing as well as practical. Silver expanded mesh has also been installed onto all elevations of the car park, helping the car park reach its practical aims by allowing natural light in and petrol fumes out.

Bruce Bagnall, Project Manager at VINCI Building UK, was impressed with our contribution to the development, marking us 10/10 for communication, project management, meeting deadlines, and expertise in design and installation: “Maple were very professional, very well organised and good to work with. I’d happily recommend them again.”
Maple have actively collaborated in several projects in the healthcare sector, such as The Christie Hospital and Greater Manchester Major Trauma Hospital, both of which have helped provide a visual impact to the Manchester skyline.
