Fundraising for Maple is the icing on the cake.

Keeping our customers delighted and inspired with our collaborative approach to design and manufacture is what we do best. But our teams also get a huge slice of satisfaction from raising money for good causes.

We recently held a cake stall with home-made goodies and bought-in favourites – and raised £130 for the RSPCA, who described us as ‘animal heroes’.

The event was organised by Caroline Bennett, from Maple’s accounts team. She said: “I’m a huge animal lover and have been a supporter of the RSPCA for many years. Thanks to the generosity of the staff here at Maple, we were able to raise a great sum of money for such a worthwhile cause.”

Fundraising is part of our Diamond Route Approach, which encourages excellence across every part of Maple’s business, and helps us be good suppliers, good employers and good citizens.

So far this year we’ve worn red to support the British Heart Foundation, and held a bottle raffle with some amazing contributions from staff. In April, Maple bosses cooked breakfast for all staff and raised £335 in donations.

“Thank you for choosing to support the RSPCA, and helping us protect innocent animals from cruelty, harm and neglect,” said the charity’s fundraising team. “We couldn’t do what we do without people like you.”
