Maple has recently completed work on an exciting new secondary school in Twickenham.

The Richmond upon Thames School is part of the Richmond Education and Enterprise Campus ― a partnership between higher and further education, global companies and local employers, and Harlequins rugby club.

Maple provided louvered screening for a plant room within the new development, a proven system that allows clean airflow for machinery and equipment but prevents rain ingress and direct sunlight.

We worked closely with architects ECE and contractors Wilmott Dixon from Day One to ensure a smooth transition from plans to reality. This included the first-fix of brackets to the steelwork and concrete roof to minimise future disruption, and the incorporation of 15mm neoprene thermal breaks to the supporting base plates.

The new school is scheduled to be completed in June 2018.
