Maple’s latest data centre project marks our first in the European market

Maple Façades has marked a major milestone with the announcement of our first data centre project in Europe, located in Germany. The project has specified Contour® Acoustic louvres, which have been designed specifically to meet the acoustic and ventilation demands of data centre infrastructure.

This achievement not only highlights Maple’s expanding international reach but also reinforces our commitment to delivering advanced façade solutions across the data centre sector.

Data centres are renowned for being sensitive environments, particularly in terms of managing sound emissions from high-performance cooling systems and generators. To meet these demands, the project specified Contour® Acoustic louvre system, a specialist solution designed to combine ventilation efficiency with effective noise attenuation.

The system allows for controlled airflow while reducing sound transmission, thanks to the incorporation of sound-absorbing mineral wool within the blade design. Manufactured from extruded aluminium and offering a range of aesthetic and depth options, it is adaptable to the project’s acoustic requirements without compromising on visual integration.

Working in close collaboration with European contractors and architects, Maple are providing end-to-end support on this project in line with our Proven Process methodology, from early-stage technical consultation to offsite fabrication and site coordination. This collaborative approach will ensure that every component is delivered to specification, within programme, and in full alignment with client expectations.
