Alongside being Health and Safety accredited, Maple are now sustainability verified with Alcumus SafeContractor.

Alcumus SafeContractor is a market-leading accreditation scheme that assesses whether contractors comply with relevant regulations and have appropriate safety management systems in place. The SafeContractor scheme is widely recognised in various industries and helps organisations assess the risk of working with contractors. Maple have been a proud member of the scheme for the last 6 years.

The ‘Sustainability verification’ is a new part of the membership platform and an extension of their SafeContractor Health and Safety audit. It’s a great way of demonstrating our commitment to environmentally friendly practices and marks a further step towards our Net Zero target.

The accreditation is the latest feature on our journey to sustainable construction, as it follows the launch of our first Environmental Product Declaration for our Continuum and Nebula Façade System which you can read about here.

To learn more about sustainability in construction, take a look at Maple’s HSEQ series, where we provide personal insight into our sustainability journey and discuss how companies can adopt more sustainable practices.
