Maple share Environmental Product Declarations for 2024

2024 has been a milestone year for Maple’s sustainability journey.

Earlier this year, we shared with you our roadmap to sustainability and how we plan to become Net Zero by 2030. In case you’ve forgotten and need a refresher, take a look at our article: Maple Façades Continues Journey Towards Sustainable Construction.

Within that article, we outlined our plan to produce independently verified Environmental Product Declarations using the Life Cycle Assessments of our core products. At the time of publication, our first EPD for Continuum and Nebula Façade Systems was under verification by EPD Hub. Fast forward nine months and we’re proud to announce that we now have 9 EPDs for products in three core product areas!

The publication of these EPDs marks a significant milestone for Maple as it shows that our sustainability journey is well underway. As well as evidencing the impact of our products, the data from these documents will also provide valuable information about areas in which we can further reduce our environmental impact. As big an achievement as this is, it forms just one part of our sustainability plan, so watch this space!
