Reputation and relationships count for a lot in our business, so we're delighted to be renewing our partnership with the University of Huddersfield, architects AHR and contractors Morgan Sindall on an exciting new project.

We recently helped design, fabricate and install brise soleil fins to the university's award-winning Oastler Building - a so-called 'hockey stick' design that delivered the 'wow factor' demanded by our client.

This time we're working on a series of striking architectural façade panels for the new £30 million home for the university's art, design and architecture departments.

The panels (laser-cut with a design inspired by the art of Barbara Hepworth) will be installed on three elevations of the building, which is being named after the famous West Yorkshire-born sculptor.

Once manufactured and installed, the panels will not only shade occupants from direct sun, the inspired design will also help tell the story of the regeneration of the building's former industrial site.
