As the original façade baguettes began to raise safety concerns, John Sisk & Son Ltd appointed Maple to deliver a like for like replacement in aluminium fins. Aluminium’s natural oxide layer provides inherent corrosion resistance, while its lightweight properties allow for efficient installation.
Spanning a total length of 8,000 metres, each fin was manufactured to match the original dimensions, colour and profile. Finished in a terracotta powder coat, the new system benefits from enhanced durability and a 25 year guarantee, ensuring a significantly longer service life.
