HEALTH | RAINSCREEN CLADDING

ROH's north, west and south elevations combine terracotta tile and aluminium rainscreen cladding to realise DAY Architectural’s vision, referencing Oldham’s mill heritage while complementing the hospital’s red brick setting with Tanami Sable panels. White powder coated elements brighten the internal courtyard, and site access constraints were carefully managed by segmenting and seamlessly reassembling panels during installation.

The finished result reflects the effort that went into the scheme. Maple overcame a lot of challenges that weren't of their own making. It was a collaborative approach that ended with a really good result and a really good relationship.
