Maple delivered a façade combining regular sized perforated, solid and expanded mesh panels to create a visually varied exterior for a seven storey car park. The design incorporated green living wall panels that reference surrounding hills and mountains, supported by a bespoke framework that discreetly conceals irrigation and drainage within ‘C’ channels. Close collaboration with architects, contractors and specialist supplier ANS Global ensured the living wall system integrated seamlessly with the façade.
More than 250 panels were manufactured, with perforation sizes carefully calculated to balance structural strength with natural light and ventilation. Panels were powder coated in shades of white, grey and silver to complement the greenery. Maple’s specialist design, factory and installation teams managed the façade from concept through to completion, coordinating closely with the living wall supplier to achieve a seamless finish that highlights the car park’s strong environmental credentials.
