The donation will help provide 300 meals for the local community.
Maple Façades has recently donated £500 worth of essential food items to the Newcastle-under-Lyme Foodbank which is part of the Trussell Trust network and will provide 300 meals for the local community. This charitable contribution is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact on local communities, both onsite and offsite.
The donation, which included a variety of non-perishable foods such as pasta, rice and canned goods was warmly received by the foodbank, which serves hundreds of families across the Newcastle-under-Lyme area. With the cost-of-living crisis still affecting many households, foodbanks have become a lifeline for individuals and families struggling to make ends meet.
The
Newcastle – Staffs foodbank resides in Newcastle-Under-Lyme which is where we are currently installing a 3D perforated
façade for
Castle multi-storey car park.
This donation follows a series of community-focused initiatives by Maple Façades as part of our aim to have a positive impact on the cities in which we operate. Our projects take us all over the UK, which puts us in the prime position to make real change.
Our Head of Operations, Nick Coles, commented on the initiative: “The impact we make in the built environment is great, but hardly scratches the surface when compared to the impact we make in local communities. What we do is just the beginning of our commitment to transforming the lives of local families.”
