What is the Specifiers’ Portal?
The portal is a dedicated digital platform designed to platform supports specifiers, architects, and contractors in maintaining a consistent and reliable flow of information, from concept design through to delivery and beyond.
Developed in response to industry demand for greater transparency and efficiency, the portal brings together a library of technical resources in one central location. Specifiers can now access Maple product data sheets, testing information, BIM models, and project imagery in one place. All aligned to support informed decision-making across every stage of façade design, from inspiration to specification.
Supporting Compliance and the Building Safety Act
Alongside streamlining specification, the Portal has been developed to directly support compliance by ensuring that up-to-date, verified technical information is readily accessible at every stage of a project. This, therefore, ties in with The Golden Thread, a major part of the Building Safety Act, which serves to maintain safety by providing the right information to the right people, at the right time. By centralising key documentation, including testing data, system details, and product specifications, the platform helps project teams reduce risk, avoid inconsistencies, and maintain a clear thread of critical decisions.
From Design Inspiration to Practical Application
In addition to technical resources, the portal offers insight into real-world applications of Maple’s façade systems, enabling users to explore completed projects alongside the specifications behind them. Users can also download curated image packs by product and sector, providing valuable design inspiration to support early-stage concepts. This integrated approach bridges the gap between design inspiration and practical implementation, supporting more confident and efficient specification.
