It’s engrained into our corporate culture – because we believe that without our people, we are nothing. But taking our staff to Europe’s largest Mercedes showroom... surely that’s above and beyond?
Okay, let’s come clean. While we offer competitive salaries and opportunities to learn new skills and enhance job satisfaction, don’t expect a luxury car when you join. We do, however, have regular team-building meetings. The first of 2020 was held away from our factory – at the purpose-built events facility within the new Mercedes showroom in Stockport.
As well as revealing our ambitious plans for 2020, we talked about new initiatives and opportunities across all our departments – from design and prototyping to manufacture and installation, and all our support teams. After the formal part of the day – which also included updates on our ongoing office and factory refurbishment work – staff took part in various games and team-building exercises, as well as viewing the cars on show.
Ironically, we’re no strangers to car showrooms, having supplied and installed interior blinds and exterior sun screening to buildings throughout the UK.
