Maple Façades are proud to announce that we will be launching our first independently verified Environmental Product Declaration. The EPD is a direct result of the Life Cycle Assessment of our Continuum Façade System.
EPDs are reports which provide information about the environmental impact of a product throughout its lifecycle. They assist architects, designers and engineers in choosing the most sustainable option for their projects. EPDs can be shared with stakeholders which also makes them useful for marketing products and providing evidence of sustainable activity.
Our EPD details the environmental impact of Continuum which has been designed to provide both practicality and aesthetic appeal. The system can withstand the live loads common to multi-storey car parks while accommodating a wide range of panel options, allowing architects creative freedom. It’s one of our most popular systems, making this a worthy achievement for Maple and a great step towards our goal of becoming Net Zero by 2026.
