Maple have helped a new residential development reflect the Art Deco heritage of Southend’s famous seafront.
We’ve worked with LAP Architects and Cura Construction on an exclusive collection of luxury beachside apartments.
The flowing curves of Clifftown Shore evoke the architecture of the 1920s and 1930s – and are combined with 21st century practicality.
Nowhere is it more obvious than on the top floor, where Maple’s brise soleil complements the iconic dark-framed glazing. While penthouse residents enjoy panoramic views over the sea and the beach, our Aurora blade system offers protection from direct sun.
Positioned above the windows at right angles to the building, the aluminium brise soleil sections extend 1,330mm from the façade, but are a seamless part of the architect’s vision. Powder-coated in marine-grade matt black to match the window frames (and to provide protection from corrosive sea air), the blades have been carefully fabricated to follow the curves of the building.
Clifftown Shore is an exclusive development of one, two and three-bedroom apartments with balconies and terraces, many of which have already been sold.
